Hello my name is Gary Neumann and I am the Founder and Chief Connector of Experience Connection.com. I have been a entrepreneur for over 25 years. I started my first company in 1982. With brand new twin sons I quit my job and started my own industrial electronic distribution business in Ohio. My wife was not real happy but with the extra family pressure it made me more determined to make this new business a success. After 15 years of building a very nice business I ended up selling it to my partner and moved onto another adventure. Here is a small tip. If you have a partner make sure you have complete trust in each other. Without that it won't work...period. That is exactly how our partnership lasted so long. We are still great friends.

My next adventure was a complete move to a manufacturing company in Florida where the weather is much better than Ohio. Our goal was to take the company public but we needed to grow the sales in order to make it happen. It took us three years to make it happen but we didn't go public due to a market turn down but we did sell the business to a Venture Capital Company. My first experience with Venture Capital. More on this later in a blog I will be starting.

After leaving the manufacturing business I went out again on my own and began working with small to medium size businesses as a marketing consultant. I taught them how to separate their companies from the competiton and make them the obvious choice to do business.There is a lot of marketing information on this site that will show you how to make this happen for our registered users.

During this time I met an individual who had built a Billion Dollar business in his past and was putting together an educational business that would teach entrepreneurs how to raise the capital they need to start their businesses. I spent two years working with him and learning from all of his past experiences on raising capital for small to medium size businesses.Unfortunately this person passed away and the project died. I did however get a lifetime education in a short period of time and a lot of this information is on this site for our registered users.

For the last few years I have been doing more consulting with local entrepreneurs. I have worked with an infomercial producer in the area helping entrepreneurs take their products to market. I have been to China and have learned how the whole sourcing program works.I work with the National Entrepreneur Center here in Orlando as a member of the advisory council. As a group of business people we meet with local entrepreneurs who  need help and we give them advice.

The end result of being and working with entrepreneurs for over 25 years is that I know they all need money but I also know they need more than that. A lot of them need engineering help. A lot of them need management and sales help. A lot of them are not business people and they need management help.  A lot of them have no idea on how to get their product to market and they need distribution help. They need to build a great team of experienced people to succeed and today location is no longer an issue. You don't have to live in the same city anymore.

As a baby boomer I know there are over 75 Million of us out there with over 30 years of experience in all kinds of fields. I also know many of them are looking for an opportunity. The problem is no one is connecting them up with entrepreneurs that could us their help. Hence, Experience Connection.

It is my goal and passion to connect up as many entrepreneurs and experienced professionals as possible to increase the chances of their success.

This site was started over 2 years ago. I know what it's like to start a new business. I want this site to be a place where we can share all of our experiences with each other, good and bad. Let's increase the chance of our success by helping each other out.

Once we get the site up and running part of our proceeds will go to helping entrepreneurs in other countries who are not as lucky as us. A loan for only $100 will help them start their business. There are several organizations that provide these services and we will be working with one of them and reporting on our successes.
